AEB USA released Glutaferm One, which is a yeast designed to produce high amounts of reduced glutathione as well as low amounts of hydrogen sulfide. Glutaferm One produces wines with complex aromas “rich in flora and tropical fruit” with “clear notes of passion fruit and grapefruit.

Flextank describes its new Gemini tank as the result of French design meeting American engineering. The tank is made with Polyethylene food grade material with an oxygen permeability that’s equivalent to a two-year old oak barrel. The Gemini design is intended to make it serve as an elegant and practical alternative to oak barrels for wine aging.

GF Piping Systems is now offering its Fuseal line of corrosive waste piping for the food and beverage industries. The piping was designed to resist the corrosive properties of acidic and alcoholic materials and can mate to stainless steel trench drains with a variety of fittings for a completely sealed system. Fuseal pipe and fittings range from 1-1/2” to 18” in size.
