Bottle decorator, Quest Industries LLC., introduced two new options it says are cheaper alternatives to adorning bottles with precious metal inks or multi-pass application processes.
A foil application process offers “the raised look and feel” of premium decoration and can also be applied to any organic spray coating.

Guala Closures and glass company O-I partnered to create a screw-top packaging system for DeBortoli Wines, an Australian sparkling wine producer. Guala developed its new closure “Viiva” and O-I created a glass bottle to fit the closure, according to a statement released by the companies.

According to a company press release, the TankJet 55 cleans using narrow angle full cone sprays rotating in multiple axes for 360° coverage. The full cone sprays reduce impact and prevents losing toast in barrels.

Bird-X, Inc. introduces what it claims is “the most realistic and effective owl decoy” designed to curtail crop loss from birds. The new decoy is an improved version of Bird-X’s existing owl decoy, and the company reports birds will find it even more frightening.
