Bird-X is now offering laser projectors to protect crops by detering birds from landing in certain areas. The laser beams appear in two colors that alarm birds and in random patterns so the birds don’t become acclimated to the lights. The lasers can be operated by remote control, and the supplier also offers a model for indoor use.

DeltaTrak introduced its FlashLink USB PDF reusable data loggers for monitoring conditions in cold storage warehouses and other temperature sensitive areas. The loggers contain software that generates PDF reports with temperature graphs, tables of summary statistics and alarm information. The serial number of each logger is embedded in each report for traceability.

Fogg Filler redesigned the standard enclosures on all of its bottle rinsing machines to make them safer and more durable and manageable. The new doors feature stainless steel frames that support hardware and hinges to eliminate thermal expansion. The new doors also keep chemical fumes enclosed so they can be evacuated outside the building through an exhaust system or chemical scrubber.
