CheninBlanc wines get some love this week from wine columnist Dave McIntyre, writing in the Washington Post. In the New York Times, columnist Eric Asimov turns his attention to Chardonnay wines from Oregon and finds much to like. On the other coast, Jon Bonne, wine columnist for the San Francisco Chronicle, reviews the past three vintages of California wines and sees a swing towards subtlety, nudged along by nature. And wine blogger Tyler Colman (Dr. Vino) offers a few observations on the wines chosen for the recent White House dinner honoring Prime Minister David Cameron and his wife. JG

Boston Globe: Wine columnist Stephen Meuse on the dramatic difference wine storage conditions can make. Example is two Hamilton-Russell Pinot Noir 2010 wines that hardly resemble each other. (Link)
