San Francisco Chronicle: The Chronicle tasting panel reviews inexpensive Chardonnay wines from Australia. Recommendations for those from Block 50, Lindeman's, Greg Norman, Penfolds, and Rosemount. (Link)

South Florida Sun-Sentinel: Wine writer Bob Hosmon on the dry wines of Portugal. Reds from Quinta do Casal, Sogrape, Flua, Companhia das Quintas, Dao Sul, and Dow are redommended. For white wines, Vinho Verde wines in general get the nod, with special recommendation for those from Casa de Vila, and Aveleda. (Link)

Chicago Tribune: Wine reporter Bill Daley on kosher wines from Spain. Recommended are Elvi Wines Ness 2004, Ramon Cardova Rioja 2005, and Peraji Petita Montsant 2006. (Link)
