Bordeaux is back on the radar screen this week, with an article in the New York Times by Eric Asimov, focusing on a resurgence of interest in wines outside the classified growths. In the Seattle Times, wine columnist Paul Gregutt recommends a number of inexpensive Bordeaux wines from the 2009 vintage. And wine blogger Fredric Koeppel (Bigger Than Your Head) finds much to like in a good number of Pinot Noir wines from Oregon's Yamhill-Carlton region. JG
