Redwood Valley, Calif.—Michelle Winter is the new head of winemaking for Barra Family Vineyards. Winter will oversee all winemaking duties for the Barra family’s Barra of Mendocino and Girasole Vineyards wine brands as well as the family’s 2.9 million gallon custom crush facility, Redwood Valley Cellars. Winters has 20 years of winemaking experience including time at Stag’s Leap Cellars and Rutheford Hill Winery in Napa Valley.
