Windsor, Calif—Russian River Partners announced its acquisition of the Brandt Ranch vineyard in Lake County. The 120-acre property includes 108 acres planted to Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cabernet Franc.

“Acquiring the Brandt Ranch is a great fit for Russian River Partners,” said Eric Flanagan, principle of Russian River Partners and owner of Flanagan Family Vineyards, in the press release announcing the purchase. “I believe that if we offer wineries fruit that is superior to much of what is grown in Napa, and do it at a fraction of the price, then we will have very robust demand for our grapes.”

The Brandt Ranch is the third major vineyard acquired by Flanagan’s Russian River Partners in the last 18 months. Last year it purchased the 30-acre Gap’s View Vineyard, with 27-acres planted to Pinot Noir, and the Platt Vineyard, with more than 300 acres and 31-acres of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. Russian River Partners also announced it's planning to make more vineyard acquisitions in the North Coast.
