Lots of attention paid to Champagne and sparkling wines this week, most notably by Stephen Meuse of the Boston Globe, Laurie Daniel in the San Jose Mercury News, and wine blogger W. Blake Gray (Gray Market Report). The San Francisco Chronicle tasting panel finds lots to like in their tasting of Napa Valley Zinfandels. And the tasting panel at the Dallas Morning News answers that age old question - which wine with grilled cheese sandwiches? JG
