San Francisco Chronicle: The Chronicle tasting panel reviews Pinot Noir wines from the Russian River area. Tasting notes on ten of these, with Dehlinger Estate 2006 getting special praise, while Kenwood 2007 is noted for value. (Link)

Sacramento Bee: Wine columnist Chris Macias on rose wines. Recommended are Domaine Carneros Rose, Fort Ross Rose 2007, and Domaine de Triennes Rose 2007. (Link)

San Jose Mercury News: Wine columnist Laurie Daniel on rose wines costing between $10 and $20. Recommended are those from Beckmen Vineyards, Quivira, Ventana Vineyards, Robert Hall, Bonny Doon, Iron Horse, J Vineyards, Etude, and Charles & Charles. From France, the choices are rose wines from Maison Bouachon, Bieler Pere et Fils, and La Vieille Ferme. Spanish producers cited are Tapena, El Coto, and Torres.
