Business Week: Wine critic Robert Parker on Muscadet wines. Highest rated are Chereau-Carre Chateau de Chesnaie 2005, and Domaine de l'Ecu Expression de Granite 2005.

Newsday: Staff writer Peter Gianotti recommends Palmer Vineyards White Riesling 2006, Gewurztraminer 2006, and Sauvignon Blanc 2006.

Sacramento Bee: Wine columnist Mike Dunne on pairing food and wine. Nice mentions for Fawnridge Winery Zinfandel, Graces Vineyards Pinot Noir, and Pride Mountain Vineyards Cabernet Sauvignon.

San Jose Mercury News: Wine columnist Laurie Daniel on wines from New Zealand. Sauvignon Blanc wines recommended from many producers, including Monkey Bay, The Crossings, Mud House, Newhaven, Nobilo, Wither Hills, Seresin Estate, Sauvignon Republic, and Villa Maria. Pinot Noir producers cited are Wild Rock, Mt. Difficulty, Felton Road, Olssens, The Crossings, Mud House, Wither Hills, Whitehaven, and Te Kairanga. Te Awa Syrah is also priased.

San Diego Union Tribune: Wine columnist Robert Whitley on the wines of Patz & Hall. Lots of praise, especially for the Chenoweth Ranch Pinot Noir 2005 and Zio Tony Ranch Chardonnay 2005.

Washington Post: Wine writers Karen Page and Andrew Dornenburg on wine trends as seen by Joshua Greene of Wine & Spirits magazine. On another page, tasting notes on the wines cited, including Cono Sur Sauvignon Blanc 2006, Robert Mondavi Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon 2004, Rosenblum 'Maggie's Reserve Zinfandel 2005, and Taittinger Brut 'La Francaise' NV.
