A special note: Wine Review Weekly was produced in New York City this week, and because of the time difference we were unable to get links to wine features in the San Francisco Chronicle. We will certainly include them in next Monday's edition. To make up for that, there are two columns this week from Eric Asimov in the New York Times, who explores challenging wine and food pairings, and also offers thoughts on new wines produced in Slovenia. And wine blogger Michael Franz (Wine Review Online) reviews many South African red wine new releases. JG
