My company started in 1972. We procure American oak from New York state and control the timing from tree harvest to milling into 3/4" thick boards, then a comprehensive rotation and racking procedure that assures even seasoning for a minimum of 2 years; then we are blessed with timely rain fall here in the Finger Lakes, NY. The result is American white oak that rivals cooperages anywhere in the world. Our French oak is from the Allier Region. Do a trial and see for yourself.
Our milling delivers perfect balance of short to long grain, allowing deep caramelization of sugars and cellulose. CharStix are triple toasted. Our new, proprietary Burgundy Toast ranges from a light medium to dark toast in the same piece of wood!
