Napa Valley, Calif.—Treasure Wine Estates (TWE) announced the Penfolds winemaking team will now be utilizing Napa Valley grapes starting with the California 2018 harvest and onward. “Our Penfolds house style certainly allows and embraces the freedom to explore premium viticultural regions across the world,” said Penfolds chief winemaker, Peter Gago, in a statement. According to Gago, the Californian-sourced wines will be available by fiscal 2022.
