Napa, Calif.—The Napa Valley Film festival is honoring actor and comedian Will Ferrell with the Caldwell Vineyard Maverick Actor Tribute award during this year's festival in a Nov. 10 ceremony at the Lincoln Theater in Yountville, Calif. The Maverick award is an inscribed three-liter bottle of Caldwell Vineyard Gold Cabernet Sauvignon and honors actors for portraying original characters. The award honors Ferrell's work in such films as Elf, Anchorman, Talladega Nights and Blades of Glory, as well as his seven-year stint on Saturday Night Live. Ferrell will stay after the award presentation for a question and answer session followed by a screening of his film, Stranger than Fiction.
