San Francisco, Calif.—The Alexander Valley winery and San Francisco tasting room of Wattle Creek Estate Winery are now part of the Boisset Collection of wineries. According to a statement released by the Boisset Collection, new owner Jean-Charles Boisset will continue to produce wines under the Wattle Creek brand at the Alexander winery and under the direction of Matt Michael who takes the role of consulting winemaker to ensure continuity of style. The tasting room, located in Ghiradeli Square in San Francisco, has been re-opened with a new design inspired by mid-century modern architectural elements.

Chris and Kristine Williams founded Wattle Creek in 1994. ““We are honored to have been entrusted by the Williams family to continue their vision for Wattle Creek Winery and its tasting room in Ghirardelli Square,” Boisset said. “The Williams have been dear friends of ours for several years and we always dreamt of finding an opportunity to do more together.”
