Rutherford, Calif.—Abdulla Vural is the new president of Peju Province Winery. Vural has nearly 30 years of experience in the luxury hospitality industry and is the first president of Peju since the winery was founded in 1983.

“We have always been, and will remain, a family-owned winery,” said Ariana Peju, who is the daughter of winery founders Tony and Herta Peju, in a statement announcing Vural's hiring. “The addition of Abdullah Vural as the company’s president is representative of how we’ve grown as a company over the past 32 years, and more importantly where we’d like to take our business in the future.”

Originally from Istanbul, Turkey, Abdullah attended school in Germany and began his career in hospitality with Marriott International before joining The Ritz-Carlton company. During his tenure with The Ritz-Carlton, he held roles in food and beverage before being promoted to the corporate roles of regional vice president of operations, America’s vice president of operations and most recently general manager of The Ritz-Carlton, Bachelor Gulch in Colorado.

As President of Peju Province Winery he plans on leveraging his knowledge of luxury hospitality, first-class customer service and food and beverage excellence.
