Paso Robles, Calif.—Gary Eberle has regained majority control of the winery he founded after being voted out of a leadership role by partners in January 2014. Eberle and his wife Marcy announced on June 4 they had obtained a majority stake of the winery Eberle founded in 1979. “It hit me hard when I faced the fact that I lacked majority control over this place,” he says. “Now the future is up to me and my wife Marcy to continue to develop the property and its wine to their utmost potential.”

The Eberles said in a statement they are looking forward to working with their other partners Marvin and Judith Zeidler and Craig and Kathy Bonelli. The Eberle Winery currently produces 27,000 cases of wine a year from estate and purchased grapes.
