Rohnert Park, Calif.—Sonoma State University announced that Tatiana and Gerret Copeland, the owners of Bouchaine Vineyards in Napa County, are donating $500,000 for the construction of the new home of the unviersity’s Wine Business Institute. "There are universities teaching the art of winemaking, but the art of the business of wine is not taught, yet it's critically important," said Tatiana Copeland, in a statement released by the school. The Copeland’s donation will fund The Copeland/Bouchaine Terrace and Gardens that is planned to be a focal point for hospitality and industry gatherings at the new center, which is scheduled to be completed in 2016.
