Sonoma, Calif.—A group of Cuban sommeliers has been granted travel visas to participate in a tour of wine regions in California’s Sonoma and Napa counties later this month. Californians Building Bridges, an advocacy group focused arranging cultural and humanitarian exchanges between Cuba and California, is hosting the group of 19 sommeliers. According to a statement released by the CBB, recent changes in Cuba have opened new distribution opportunities for U.S. agricultural products including wine.
