San Francisco, Calif.—Carolyn Wente, chief executive officer of Wente Vineyards in Livermore, Calif., was elected to the post of board chairman for the Wine Institute. The election was held recently at the Wine Institute’s 80th annual meeting in Half Moon Bay, Calif., where the group elected other board members including Greg Coleman of E. & J. Gallo Winery in Modesto, Calif., first vice chairman; Margie Healy of Korbel Champagne Cellars in Guerneville, Calif., second vice chairman; Steve Lohr of J. Lohr Vineyards & Wines in San Jose, Calif., treasurer; and Chris Indelicato of Delicato Family Vineyards in Napa, Calif., secretary.
