Combo Safefruit is a blend of Saccharomyces cerevisiae “selected to enhance production of esthers and other aromatic compounds” to enhance complexity and is suited for premium red wines as it has a high tolerance for alcohol and low temperatures.

Liqui-Box unveiled a new dispensing tap for bag-in-box wine packages called Liqui-Top. The supplier claims the new tap “will revolutionize the bag-in-box wine market for years to come” because it is positioned higher on the box and enables a consumer to place a standard glass directly beneath the tap.

Strahman introduced the newest attachment for its Mini M-70 spray nozzle the HydroSwivel Sweeper, which is a drain cleaner for brushing and flushing out floor drains. The supplier reports the attachment’s firm bristle brush loosens debris and a forward direction nozzle flushes it away. Side ports on the brush help rinse the drains clean.

White Motif has a “distinctive emboss pattern” and a bright, white face stock to display further embossing and foil stamping.

Metzingen -- The protective packaging specialist Storopack finished the year 2016 with its sales up. The Metzingen-based group generated sales totaling 434 million euros last year with its 2,513 employees. This equates to a year-on-year increase of 18 million euros and growth of four percent, adjusted from five percent for exchange rate effects.
