The new Seven2GO portable pH meters by Mettler Toledo are designed to provide quick and accurate analysis in the field. The meters can be used with sensors for pH, conductivity, dissolved oxygen and ions and feature a bright mono TFT display that can be viewed at any angle down to 5° and in direct sunlight.

MP Global Thermal Packaging Products released new styrene-free thermal and protective box liners for wine shipments. The insulated box liners provide temperature control as well as protective cushioning. The cotton padding is produced using a blend of recycled cotton fibers that are biodegradable.

National Oilwell Varco, NOV, announced that universal replacement parts for progressing cavity pumps are now available through the company’s process and flow technologies division that includes pump manufacturer Moyno. The universal parts range contains a wide variety of parts that fit other PC pumps and are designed to provide a competitive alternative for spare parts.

DNA-based security system and hologram manufacturer Holoptica announced a new concept in QR codes for brand protection, product recognition and document security applications. The new holoQR features a barcode embedded in the holographic image and provides on-the-spot verification of products. The code can be linked to Holoptica’s verification database or to another server.

Milwaukee Instruments is calling its new DL-100 pH data logger as one of the biggest innovations in pH analysis in the past 40 years. The new logger works with any manufacturer’s probe and meter or a controller that uses a standard BNC probe connection. The DL-100 also comes equipped with probe validation software to ensure a probe is accurate and a large LCD readout.

Primera announced its new LX900 printer is the fastest and most economical color label printer on the market. The supplier reports the LX900 features high-resolution inkjet technology to print labels for wine bottles, boxes and other packaging. Labels can feature photos, graphics, illustrations and high-resolution or two-dimension bar codes.
