San Luis Obispo, Calif.—Tolosa Winery hired Michael Giese as its new estate manager. He previously served as the brand manager at Hope Family Wines in Paso Robles, Calif. In his new role, Giese is responsible for overseeing Tolosa’s 25-person on-site sales and hospitality team, reporting directly to Tolosa’s general manager, June McIvor.

Tolosa also hired Nicole Morris as the winery’s new assistant winemaker, replacing Jason Fullmer who recently left to launch a mobile canning business for beer, wine and spirits. Morris comes to Tolosa from Talley Vineyards in Arroyo Gande, Calif., where she worked her way from cellar assistant to enologist to assistant winemaker.
