Sonoma, Calif.—The third generation of the Sagniacomo Family announced the launch of a new series of wines created from estate vineyards grown in Carneros, Napa County and along the Sonoma County coast. The estate wines will include appellation Pinot Noir and Chardonnay; single-vineyard designate Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Cabernet Sauvignon; and a proprietary Pinot Noir called ViMaria, named after first-generation founders, Vittorio and Maria Sangiacomo. “We want to create wines that express our vision through our vineyards,” said Steve Sangiacomo in the press release announcing the new wines. “Our winery partners have created amazing wine quality from our fruit for many years, and we now hope to make them proud by creating wines that will complement them in the marketplace.”
