Santa Rosa, Calif.—Ed Thralls was promoted to general manager of Benovia Winery, and winery co-founder Mary Dewane is stepping into the new role of vice chairman of the winery in the Russian River Valley. Thralls joined Benovia in 2016 as its director of marketing and business operations, bringing more than 25 years of experience in both wine and financial technology industries to the winery. Prior to working at Benovia, Thralls was the director of consumer sales and marketing at Flowers Vineyards & Winery and Huneeus Vintners. As vice chairman, Dewane will be the winery’s chief brand ambassador and manage and expand key DtC programs.
