Roederer wins best U.S. sparkling wine

London—Roederer Estate in Philo, Calif., won a trophy for best U.S. sparkling wine at the 2017 Champagne & Sparkling Wine World Championships in London. The international competition drew sparkling wines from 29 countries and named 82 best-in-class winners and 17 trophy winners including best U.S. wine for Roederer's non-vintage rosé. Other winners were Dom Pérignon 1998 P2 in magnum for supreme world champion and best French sparkling wine, Trentodoc producer Ferrari Lunelli for sparkling wine producer of the year and the chairman’s trophy was presented to AR Lenoble 2008 Grand Cru Chouilly in magnum.
