Wine writer donates papers to UC Davis

Davis, Calif.—British wine writer Jancis Robinson is donating her personal archive of tasting notes, published work, correspondence, photographs and other works to the library of the University of California, Davis. Robinson is the wine correspondent of the Financial Times newspaper, author of numerous books and the founder of jancisrobinson.com. Robinson’s work joins the papers of Hugh Johnson, another notable British critic, at the UC Davis Library. Robinson will discuss her career and the evolution of the world of wine at a free seminar on Feb. 16 at the library. Reservations are required by Feb. 9.
