Los Angeles, Calif.—Julian Gonzalez is the new chief winemaker for Guarachi Family Wines. Prior to joining Guarachi, Gonzalez was the lead winemaker for Paul Hobbs Consulting where he oversaw all consulting programs for the past nine years. In Gonzalez’s new role, he will serve as winemaker and caretaker to Guarachi Family Wines’ winemaking program, along with the Meadowrock estate in the Atlas Peak AVA of Napa County and Sun Chase vineyard in Sonoma County's Petaluma Gap area.
