Salinas, Calif.—Scheid Family Wines of Salinas hired Laura Kirk Lee as its new director of marketing. Lee most recently served as vice president of sales and marketing for Peju Province Winery in Napa, Calif. She previously held the position of marketing director for Foley Family Wines and senior marketing director for Jackson Family Wines. Scheid produces 100,000 cases of wine per year and farms 4,000 acres of vineyards in the Salinas Valley. The winery's portfolio includes District 7, Metz Road, GIFFT, Ryder Estate, Ranch 32 and more than 15 brands for clients and distributors.
