Napa, Calif.—Accolade Wines appointed M.J. Loza its new general manager of the company’s North America operations. Loza currently oversees Accolade’s interests in New Zealand. Accolade is a global wine company that owns the Geyser Peak, Atlas Peak and XYZin brands in California. Loza was the CEO of the Blenheim, New Zealand based Mud House Wine Group at the time it was acquired by Accolade Wines in 2014 and for the past year has been the general manager for Accolade Wines’ New Zealand operation. Loza will join Accolade’s executive committee and report directly to CEO John Ratcliffe.
