Jackson Family Wines launches wine group

Santa Rosa, Calif.—Jackson Family Wines announced the launch of its West Burgundy Wine Group focused on producing estate-grown, site-specific Pinot Noir and Chardonnay wines. Fred Reno will lead strategic development and market distribution as the group’s director.

The group will based at Jackson Family Wine’s Carneros Hills Winery, which is the former Buena Vista production facility in the Sonoma County half of the Carneros AVA. West Burgundy Wine Group is comprised of the following wine brands:

• Champ de Reves, focused on high-elevation Pinot Noir from Anderson Valley in Mendocino County
• Wild Ridge, producing Pinot Noir from the Sonoma Coast
• Chardenet, featuring single vineyard Chardonnay from the cooler regions of Sonoma County
Gran Moraine Winery, producing Pinot Noir from the Yamhill-Carlton district of the Willamette Valley.

The group will also be the exclusive importer for Molliard-Grivot, a family-owned négociant based in Burgundy, France.
