Parry joins Groth as winemaker

Oakville, Calif.—Cameron Parry has been picked to be the new winemaker at Groth Vineyards & Winery and will start July 7. Owner and founder Dennis Groth, however, said in a statement that outgoing winemaker Michael Weis’s departure from the winery will be “slow and measured ensuring our wines have the gentle continuity that we’ve staked our reputation on.” Prior to accepting the position at Groth, Parry was the winemaker at Chateau Montelena Winery in Calistoga, Calif.
