Napa, Calif.—Shafer Vineyards founder Doug Shafer has launched a podcast called “The Taste with Doug Shafer.” The podcast features Shafer's conversations with people in the food and wine industry. The first three episodes, released Tuesday, April 24, include chef Cindy Pawlcyn, vintner John Skupny, and food and wine personality Leslie Sbrocco. “Mainly, I’m interested in people’s stories – where they started, their struggles, successes, and how they ended up where they’ve ended up,” Shafer said in a press release. “Over the years I’ve heard so many amazing stories from people I’ve worked with or befriended – funny, inspiring, and even heartbreaking.”

“The Taste with Doug Shafer” is available now on iTunes, Soundcloud, Stitcher and Google Play as well as the Shafer Vineyards website.
