St. Helena, Calif.—The Napa Valley Vintners will give $6 million to help pay for the construction of the new OLE Health medical facility in the city of Napa. Funds for the contribution come from the group’s annual community fundraiser, Auction Napa Valley. According to the press release announcing the donation, OLE Health currently provides primary medical care for one in six Napa County residents and one in four local children from its nine area facilities, including the Napa Valley Vintners Community Health Center in Napa. The new facility, slated to open in 2018, is expected to serve more than 15,000 patients annually.
