Santa Rosa, Calif.—To recognize Women’s History Month, Vintage Wine Estates funded a $5,000 scholarship for a woman pursuing a professional wine master of business administration degree at Sonoma State University in Rohnert Park, Calif. "Several recent studies have found that companies with more female leaders are more productive and profitable," said the wine company’s president and CEO Pat Roney in a press release, which also stated that six out of the 10 members of Vintage’s senior leadership team are women. "Gender parity in business is not only about fairness — it's about results."
