Santa Rosa, Calif.—The Sonoma County Vintners will honor four of the county’s “icons” at the group’s upcoming barrel auction on April 29. Helen Long Bacigalupi, founder of Bacigalupi Vineyards; Tom Klein, owner of Rodney Strong Vineyards; David Americo Rafanelli, third generation owner of A. Fafanelli Winery and Tom Rochioli, owner of Rochioli Vineyards will be honored at a reception on April 28 as well as during the auction. “We are delighted to be able to recognize four individuals who have truly helped shape the heritage and history of Sonoma County winemaking,” said Jean Arnold Sessions, the interim executive director of the vintners’ group.
