Napa, Calif.—Treasury Wine Estates, TWE, announced Bob Spooner is the new president of the Australian company’s operations in the Americas. Spooner replaces Sandra LeDrew who is leaving Treasury after four years with the firm. Spooner joined TWE as chief supply officer in January 2015 and has helped shift TWE’s focus to its luxury and premium brands. Spooner will be based in TWE’s offices in Napa, Calif.

According to the statement announcing the change, Spooner previously worked at Sara Lee's Household and Personal Care business in the United Kingdom before moving to ICI paints as its European supply chain director. Spooner also worked as group supply chain director for Premier Foods Ltd for seven years, and was chief executive officer of Hovis Ltd, immediately prior to joining TWE.
