San Simeon, Calif.—Hearst Ranch Winery announced Soren Christensen as its new winemaker. Christensen has nearly 15 years of experience in winemaking and most recently spent three vintages working at Alta Colina winery. The winery also announced the addition of consulting winemaker Guillaume Fabre who will be focused on developing a new ultra-premium wine program that the winery will be incorporating into its portfolio. Fabre, a native of France, first came to the Paso Robles, Calif., region in 2004 to work at L’Aventure and then started his own brand Clos Solene.
