Yountville, Calif.—Kari Auringer is the new winemaker at Cornerstone Cellars in the Napa Valley. Auringer helped make the wine at Cornerstone for most of the 2000s as the assistant winemaker and rejoins the winery after working for Scarecrow Wine, Lindstrom Wines, Keever Vineyards & Winery, Kelly Fleming Wines and Corra. “We could not be more excited to have Kari join our team,” said Cornerstone Cellars managing partner Craig Camp. “I have followed her career for years and I know she shares my vision of crafting elegant, balanced wines in the classic Napa Valley style of years past. She is a winemaker with great skill, vision and a passion that will guide Cornerstone Cellars on our voyage to produce better and better wines each vintage and build on the base we have already established to create even more extraordinary wines in the future.”
