Sebastopol, Calif.—Alex Kanzler will take over fulltime winemaking duties and become a managing partner of Kanzler Vineyards, which his parents Stephen and Lynda Kanzler founded in 2004. Alex Kanzler first started making wine for the family business in 2011, while also working at the custom crush facility Vinify Wine Services. He most recently was the associate winemaker at VML Russian River Winery and Truett Hurst Winery. “Frankly I didn’t see this coming, but I’m thrilled,” said Stephen Kanzler.
