Water efficiency workshop in Sonoma County

Santa Rosa, Calif.—The Sonoma County growers and vintners groups, along with Pacific Gas & Electric and the Sonoma County Farm Bureau, are hosting a free, agricultural and winery water-efficiency workshop May 28 at Francis Ford Coppola Winery in Geyserville, Calif. The session will cover advanced pumping efficiency including pump testing, incentives for repair and variable speed drives. A team of winery wastewater auditors will discuss water efficiency and conservation in the winery, and PG&E staff will detail energy efficiency incentives as well as programs to replace or retrofit agricultural pumps.
