Novato, Calif.—Winery Exchange announced its acquisition of Chronic Cellars winery located in Paso Robles, Calif. Founded by brothers Jake and Josh Beckett in 2008, Chronic Cellars positioned itself as a counter-culture brand with edgy labels like Sofa King Bueno. Josh Beckett will stay on as winemaker, Jake Beckett will oversee marketing and brand development, and Jake’s wife Dawn Beckett will continue to manage the tasting room and wine club. Winery Exchange manages a portfolio of brands and develops, markets and sells custom wine, beer and spirits brands for retailers in the United States and abroad.
